BARGARA ANZAC DAY GUNFIRE BREAKFAST

Bargara’s Gunfire Breakfast has traditionally been held at the Bargara Beach Hotel since its inception in 1997.  Successive owners have all welcomed the breakfast and have made their facilities available to the many volunteers who prepare, cook and serve several hundred breakfasts each year.

An army of volunteers will prepare and serve a scrumptious meal of sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, muffins, & tomatoes free of charge to Diggers and members of the community together with a complimentary nip or two of rum and your choice of milk or coke (other beverages are available at bar prices). Tea & coffee is complimentary.

PLEASE ALLOW OUR DIGGERS FIRST ACCESS TO THE HOTEL PREMISES AND SERVERIES WHEN THE DOORS OPEN AFTER THE DAWN SERVICE

Gold coin donations are always welcomed to help offset the costs, however apart from these donations, the breakfast is funded entirely through sponsorships and other donations from local businesses which take the opportunity to support the event as a means to thank the community for their patronage.
